About Faye Faye dances with the belly dance trio Cabaret Arabia in Sydney
Although having learnt tap and figure skating as a child, Faye didn't consider learning dance seriously until her early 30's when she started Free and Wild dance classes with Janis Claxton and Urban Tribal with Annetta Luce at the Sydney Dance Company studios. She joined the Urban Tribal troupe and performed at regular events throughout Sydney.
After some years break from dance, in 2002 Faye started belly dance classes and over the following years learnt with Terezka, Suraya, Shiva, Jrisi Jusakos and Georgette, gaining early experience performing at festivals, Multicultural events at shopping centres, schools and Jrisis Haflas.
Faye has been in a number of music videos and has choreographed and taught the dance segments of fashion shows.
With Jessica and Danielle, she formed Cabaret Arabia in 2005 and has been dancing with them at weddings, corporate functions and parties for the past few years. She also teaches Cabaret Arabia Belly Dance Classes at Hurstville in Sydney.
